Data Protection Act – Step 3 – No Response to Initial Letter

If you receive no response to your Subject Access Request within 40 days then you will need to send a Letter Before Action.

If you receive a response within 40 days but it is inadequate (ie no copy of of contract, letters, etc), then you will need to send a Letter Before Action.

The following is an example Letter Before Action which refers to Transfer Agent RTA (Business Consultants) Limited. You should send this letter via Signed For.
